i'm not sure if you have heard "virgin coconut oil". you may use it as alternative for hair spa products and other over the counter conditioning items. try to massage it onto you scalp and hair roots to tips, then leave it for 20-30mins. or more covered with shower cup and hot towel. then shampoo and conditioned it to remove the coco smell.

there is a natural product called 'carrot oil' or something to that nature in the african -maerican section of a wal-mart store (hair isle)that is really goooood for dry hair. it's a clear bottle with orange oil inside....it works great
