You need to go to a salon and have them use a reconstructor on your hair. This is a deep conditioning treatment that strengthens your hair by reducing breakage, smoothing damaged hair cuticles and split ends. They contain humectants which help your hair retain moisture.

There are several reconstructors available but the best can only be used by salon professionals. At a salon they'll apply the reconstructor, place a plastic cap on your head, and put you under a hair dryer for a few minutes. The reconstructor is then rinsed out.

Most professional strength reconstructors contain a good bit of protein; that's why you have to go to a salon to get them.

My advice: go to a salon and have them give you a reconstructor treatment. Otherwise your hair may continue to break.

If you don't want to go to a salon, you could purchase a reconstructor online. It's not as strong and you won't see as good results, but they are available. I've included a few sources below.

curly hair - lacks moisture naturally.... use moisturising shampoo (such as redken clear moisture, or smooth down to help the frizz) and skip the conditioner because you need a much more intense treatment. use a protein treatment to help strengthen your chemically damaged hair.

dont put any more colours in your hair until its healthy again. try not to blowdry it, if u must put a heat protectant product in it, such as delorenzo, extinguish.

to keep it looking nice you need a styling product. try loreal's liss control. it will moisturise and has a hold factor of 2 to control the frizz. hope i helped
