I put on some hard metal and head bang it dry. Then use a de-tangling spray when I brush it out. D:

How can i make my wet hair dry fast?

well u cant really dry ur hair quickly but u can buy a turbie or wrap a towel around ur hair for a little bit. or just let it dry naturally. what i do is wrap my hair in a towel for about 10 minutes then i barely blow dry my hair so it doesnt get damaged. but wen i barely blow dry my hair i only blow dry it for a 1-3 minutes.

How can i make my wet hair dry fast?

Stick your head out the side of your car door. duh!

How can i make my wet hair dry fast?

I used to drive down the road and stick my head out the window...maybe not the safest, but it works.

How can i make my wet hair dry fast?

shake ur head and fluff with ur fingers that can help

How can i make my wet hair dry fast?

Squeeze the excess water out from your hair with a towel (right after you get out of the shower). Flip your hair over your head and back a few times. Then, alternate using a pick comb and your fingers to comb out your hair, but be gentle.

How can i make my wet hair dry fast?

When you shower wash it first and rinse it out as best you can. put it in a bun or whatever to keep it from getting wet while you shower. Then after your done showering towel dry it. Dry the back and move your way down to the ends. It's pretty fast but not as fast as a hair dryer.

Dry/Brittle Hair, hard to control?

Plz read this it might be pretty long. I've bought shampoos and conditioners from Dove, Redken, John Frieda's Frizz-Ease, Infusium, and Head%26amp;Shoulders. The conditioners do work but after my hair drys, it becomes all brittle and hard. I've been trying to look for a conditioner that will work on my hair and keep it soft and manageable for the entire day. I comb my hair everyday. sometimes once a week i comb it 2-3 times. I've been using gel but it makes my hair hard and I don't like that. I used serum but my hair is still pretty hard. I used hairspray, doesn't work. I've tried everything. My hair is frizzy. I shampoo and condition everyday. I heard that you shouldn't shampoo everyday because it will take out the oils that are needed in your hair. Is there any home remedies that will make your hair soft the entire day and worked for you? Plz help Thx.

Dry/Brittle Hair, hard to control?

Are you washing the conditioner out after you use it?

I used to forget to wash it out and my hair turned hard.

If thats not what the problem is then I'd recomend buying "Aussie 3 minute Miracle" it works wonders and smells pretty nice too :D

Depending on your hairlength you may want to also start straightening your hair as this can de-frizz it pretty quikly.

Hope your back to having Good Hair Days soon :D

Dry/Brittle Hair, hard to control?

Try Queen Helene cholesterol creme. After shampooing, coat hair with this, wrap hair in a plastic bag, then a towel. Watch your fav. half-hour show. Rinse out DO NOT SHAMPOO AGAIN. You can find Queen Helene products at beauty supply stores

Dry/Brittle Hair, hard to control?

Stop using the cheap products. Dove, Head and Shoulders.. Redken- to some extent. Those products are pulling out the nutrients from your hair. Go to a salon or a beauty supply and buy some new conditioner. It may be $5-10 more but its worth it. You have to stop using those bad products. I would recoment Biolage (Fortifying conditioner). and Biolage/Matrix (moisterizing shampoo/conditioner). You're hair is brittle because of the ph level that is taken out from those products.

Dry/Brittle Hair, hard to control?

try getting it glazed or get pantenes (i think its by pantene) luminous hair glaze. i've actually never gotten my hair glazed but i want to. maybe get like just a clear glaze

Hair dye, dry ends?

i used to have platinum blonde hair and just recently dyed it brown with 10 developer just to deposit color. of course since my ends are the driest, they sucked up all the color and turned nearly black. i don't really mind it as of right now, but i want to dye it a lighter brown 20 with i suppose developer.

so should i apply it on the ends first b/c they need the most lightening?

or should i put it on last if it decides to soak up all the color again?

or should i use a higher developer on the ends? how does this work, haha.

Hair dye, dry ends?

It sounds like you are using permanent color so I am going to answer your questions as if. The ends of your hair are more porous than the rest of your hair. That is why they went darker. You can get something from sally's or some other beauty supply that is made to remove hair color. You will probably have to do that before you can go to a lighter color. Be sure to read and follow directions. Some of these can be mixed with either water or developer depending on how dark the color is that you need to remove. I like these best because you can do it using water first and then again with developer if it didn't get enough the first time. After applying this you should be able to recolor. By the way, you will most likely have to recolor immediately after using the color remover product because it usually leaves the hair an unnatural tone. oh, and you should also get something called porosity control. you apply this right before hair color and it will help the ends not to grab the color so dark.

How can i get my hair to dry curly?

my hair only gets a pretty curl to it when i go to bed with my hair wet. how can i make it curl with out having to go to bed with wet hair? i hate getting it all wet and scrunching it with gel and hair spray...its too cold to go outside with my hair wet. is there anyway i can get it to curl with just air drying it?

How can i get my hair to dry curly?

ok when your hair is wet or damp still put some type of curling mousse in it (i use garnier XXL curl mousse and it works great) use however much is right for your hair and scrunch around in your hair, then scrunch your hair up loosely in a ponytail. not like a regular bun you just srunch it to the top of your head and tie it loosely.

This works very well for me. :)

How can i get my hair to dry curly?

wrap it up in curlers and let it dry that way.. ?

How can i get my hair to dry curly?

Hello, I'm a hair dresser. Put some styling foam in your hair and scrunch it. It drys very quickly and it's cheap! Hope this helps!

How can i get my hair to dry curly?

Rollers would work or get a hairdryer with a diffuser or just blow dry it, rolling the hair up around a barrel brush and use the cold shot to set the curl. It takes a while to get the hold of it but it looks great.

How to handle dry curly frizzy hair?

I have really curly hair and i love it but i wake up in the morning and its really dry frizzy and knotted. When i comb it it gets even more frizzed and puffy. any suggestions that wont cost alot of money. Preferably natural remedies

How to handle dry curly frizzy hair?

I have frizz because I have wavy hair.I 've tried expencive products and they only work for awhile. There's this new line with eveything for frizz. It's called Sunsilk De-Frizz.It really works for me and it's only about $3.00 It really works and you'll notice right away.

How to handle dry curly frizzy hair?

comb with a big toothed comb after using a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner.

How to handle dry curly frizzy hair?

I have curly hair too. What works for me is usually before I go to bed, I twist a whole bunch of sections separately into zolo knots. I spray my hair with a bit of water, put a little leave in conditioner and twist each section. In the morning, I take it out and all the curls stay nice and not frizzy. Don't comb curly hair. Just use your fingers and twist.

How to handle dry curly frizzy hair?

Do not comb it! Put Moisturizing Conditioner on it. How do I know? That's why they call me, "Rug".

How to handle dry curly frizzy hair?

as crazy as it sounds, my cousin puts lotion in her hair when she has the frizzies. not a lot, just rub it on your hands and run you fingers through your hair. it definitly helps static.

How to handle dry curly frizzy hair?

The absolute best is a product called Curls Up from FX Special Effects. Its an awesome defrizzant! Its inexpensive, and you can get it at any Wal-Mart, CVS, Walgreens, etc. You'll love it!

How to handle dry curly frizzy hair?

My hair is exactly the same. What I found that works is: Not shampooing everyday. I shampoo every other day or other other day. : D Wet it and condition it every morning (I rinse out). Comb out tangles and let it air dry. I scrunch it with my fingers as it dries. If I do wind up using a hair dryer I use a diffuser on it and only enough so it's not dry, but still damp. I get more compliments now than I ever did on my curls. I also started using a product from the "ethnic" isle in the store - it's called Cholesterol. I have no idea if it is all natural, but it is very inexpensive. The kind I use has Aloe. It smells good too.

After my initial comb out for tangles - I never touch it again with a brush or comb. I only use my fingers.

Good luck!

My hair is so dry! And I don't heat style or use hairspray! What do I do???

I don't use anything in my hair except shampoo, conditioner and leave-in conditioner. I don't heat style and my hair is in a loose bun all day because I'm in the army. I have thick, long, wavy hair and it's so dry, what can I do?

My hair is so dry! And I don't heat style or use hairspray! What do I do???

try aussie 3 min mircle, my girlfriend gave me some for my dry hair and it worked

My hair is so dry! And I don't heat style or use hairspray! What do I do???

it could be your water. try a demineralizer (at your salon) followed by a deep conditioning treatment

My hair is so dry! And I don't heat style or use hairspray! What do I do???

What type of shampoo and conditioner are you using? Make sure you use really good products. My hair is thick and tends to be dry and frizzy. I have tried several products... Redken's "All Soft" line works wonders on my hair. You should try it!

My hair is so dry! And I don't heat style or use hairspray! What do I do???

well i know that hair can get dry if it hasn't been trimmed in a while. if you trim it, all of the dead, dry ends will go away or maybe the shampoo you use is drying it. try using a really gentle shampoo like a baby shampoo.

hope that helps!

My hair is so dry! And I don't heat style or use hairspray! What do I do???

My hair got dry how can i fix it oh and how can i make it grow faster?

My hair use to be real pretty but i dyed it and the chemicals were too strong so it dried up and now its like ughh and how can i make it to grow faster please help me the point is i just want long healthy hair like i use to have ..

My hair got dry how can i fix it oh and how can i make it grow faster?

no problem

here are some home remedies which are very good for dry hair. i had dry hair myself but when i tried these tips it was great! they've never been dry again!

Dont go out and buy anything expensive.

First: Purchase a mild Shampoo (To Clarify hair, I will explain why)

Second: TRIM your hair ends (May 1 1/2 to 2 inches)

Third: Here's the magic part: Mix olive oil, almond oil, coconut oil, avocado oil and a "little" honey, (honey u will have to heat so it can blend). Either leave on ALL day or all night (if all nite, DONT use honey)

Beat up on an Egg: Separate the white of an egg from the yolk, and whip the white thoroughly. Then add 1 tablespoon of water to the yolk and blend until the mixture is creamy. Next, mix the white and yolk together. Wet your hair with warm water, remove the excess moisture, and apply the egg mixture to your scalp with your fingertips. Massage gently until the froth is worked into your scalp, and then rinse the hair with cool water. Keep applying the mixture until it is used up. Continue to rinse until all of the egg is washed away

Go for the Mayo: Heat up one half cup of mayonnaise until it becomes an oily, white goo and apply to dry, unwashed hair. Cover your hair with a plastic bag and leave on for at least 15 minutes. Then, rinse and shampoo thoroughly.

Mix up a Tropical Treat: Mash one over-ripe banana (the blacker, the better) with a mushy, rotten avocado. Massage this exotic puree into your hair and leave on for at least 15 minutes before washing out…in the kitchen sink!).

Grab a Cold One. Beer can give your dry hair a healthy sheen. Before you blow-dry or style, use a pump bottle to spray brew onto your hair. The beer will leave your hair shiny and sleek and its odor will disappear quickly.

In addition to using these home remedies regularly to avoid dry hair, try the following preventative measures:

Avoid overshampooing. Shampooing can wash away the hair's protective oils, so try washing less often and use a mild shampoo labeled "for dry or damaged hair."

Condition regularly. Conditioners protect the hair’s cuticle layer from splitting from the shaft. Pick a conditioner that works well for your hair and use it after every shampoo.

Wear a hat. Too much exposure to wind and sun can leave hair thirsty.

Trim off split ends. The biggest problem caused by dry hair is split ends. Schedule a trim every six to eight weeks to keep fraying ends under control.

Ease up on the heat. Heat (in the form of blow dryers, as well as straightening and curling irons) can quickly dry out hair. Let your hair air dry occasionally. Try using plastic cylinder rollers to straighten hair by wrapping slightly moist hair under and around rollers for about 10 minutes. For curling, try using sponge rollers overnight or sleeping with moist braids.

Don't swim without a cap. Use a rubber cap to protect your hair from the damaging effects of chlorine. If you must forgo a cap, rub a spoonful of olive oil into your hair before diving in.

also heres a very good website which could help you out with all hair problems!

http://www.pioneerthinking.com/hair.html

Good luck!!:)

Another thing is also putting in lotion in your hair after you have gotten out of the shower and you can also put in lotion in hair after you have dried it.

Just rub some lotion on your finger tips and run it through your hair evenly.

Also, something that will help your hair is to take COLDshowers. What most people dont know is that if you take hot showers, the heat gets rid of the oils and other things that your hair needs to be kept healty and shiney.

Hope this helps!

If this doesnt help just contact me and i can give you more tips for your dry hair!

Smash an avocado and mix with jojoba and peppermint oils. Make sure its really smooth you may want to put it in a food processor with a little water. Then apply some to your scalp and the rest on your hair. Massage for a minute or so then put on a plastic cap. Leave for 15 to 30 minutes. The avocado and jojoba oils will moisterize and the peppermint will stimulate your scalp to loosen any dead skin and open your pores. It will feel great. Your hair will grow better and won't be dry. :)

My hair got dry how can i fix it oh and how can i make it grow faster?

use olive oil. wet your hair then put some in massage in your scalp and the ends and sleep with a towel on your pellow so you dont get stains on them or a towel around your head and in the morning wash it out

i tried it..

it made my hair so soft ^_^

toodles! XD

My hair got dry how can i fix it oh and how can i make it grow faster?

olive oil %26amp; mayo is all you need-throughout the week apply and put in a shower cap...hope I helped;)

My hair got dry how can i fix it oh and how can i make it grow faster?

I would recommend using this:http://store.hello-gorgeous.net/osmaangl... my hairstylist used it on my hair once, and it worked sooo good! And I flat iron my hair daily and I die it 2, so my hair is really dry!!! Also do not use the cheap shampoos, like Herbal Essence, Suave, and more, b-cuz my hairstylist said more than that helps your hair, it damages it more. So even if you have to spend some money on a good shampoo and conditioner, do it. I use Pureology, http://www.pureology.com/ and it works good. And if you want to make your hair grow faster, try hair vitamins, if you don't know what they R, go to your local hair salon and they'll explain everything!

Bye! :)

P.S. Oh and do not use mayonnaise on your hair, it'll just make it stink REALLY bad!

My hair got dry how can i fix it oh and how can i make it grow faster?

Try washing less often. And use only a mild shampoo, one labeled "for dry or damaged hair."

The secret formula for hair growth is to see that hair remains healthy. So try http://solutionsforhairgrowth.blogspot.c... for more details.

My hair got dry how can i fix it oh and how can i make it grow faster?

First you have to add moisture to your hair. Any hair oil or hair creme that contains natrual oils, vitamins and minerals.

Message the hair oil into your scalp. This will help the blood to circulte which stimulates the hair follices which promotes hair growth.

Your hair needs a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner.

Why is my hair dry damaged and unmanagable sometimes?

i have the same routine everyday.....and sometimes my hair is nice and smooth and very manageable. and sometimes its hard and stiff and stubborn and damaged, etc.

why is this?? and what can i or should ido??

Why is my hair dry damaged and unmanagable sometimes?

yeah...definately change your products from time to time. also get your hair trimmed regularly. and no...don't shampoo everyday. it is bad for your hair. you may also want to try a deep conditioner. garnier fructis makes a good one as well as aussie. pantene restoratives is good too. good luck!

Why is my hair dry damaged and unmanagable sometimes?

Ur supposed to shampoo ur hair alot though. Report It

Why is my hair dry damaged and unmanagable sometimes?

you need to change things up. my stylist recommends i use change hair products every 3 months. this includes shampoo, conditioner, styling products, etc.

plus stop shampooing your hair everyday. it takes the essential oils out of your hair!

g'luck

Why is my hair dry damaged and unmanagable sometimes?

weather conditions have a lot to do with the way your hair behaves as do blow driers, curlers, any heated impliment you might use on your hair damages it.

Or harsh chemicals

Why is my hair dry damaged and unmanagable sometimes?

thats the same thing with my hair its just bad hair days and u realli cant do anything

Why is my hair dry damaged and unmanagable sometimes?

I think it's due to the weather. I always change up my hair products also. It seems to work well, each hair product is different. Another thing I do on a bad hair day is rub lotion on my hands and lightly rub them through my hair. It helps fly aways and makes your hair look shiney.

Why is my hair dry damaged and unmanagable sometimes?

even you don't use conditioner, mask or hair spray to make it smooth, or you wash it to often, you shouldn't wash it every day if you have dry, damage hair. try kerastase ultra-shine top coat hairspray from l'oreal I love it...

Why is my hair dry damaged and unmanagable sometimes?

Does blow dry damage ur hair badly?and if yes how?

i just had my hair blow dried..i found tht sum hair strands have become uneven to touch and thy become frizzy and stand so badly tht they are visible...when touched by water ur hair become like they were before...what does the high tempature do to ur hair?does it change any bonding??

Does blow dry damage ur hair badly?and if yes how?

Yes, heat can dry out your hair and make it more brittle and frizzy. Avoid blow drying and buy a smoothing serum of some kind (there's inexpensive and more expensive kinds out there. Try Matrix if you have more money, and Suave or Garnier Fructise if you're on a budget.).

Does blow dry damage ur hair badly?and if yes how?

Alot of exposure to excessive heat does damage your hair but if you only blowdry your once a week or less that best.

Does blow dry damage ur hair badly?and if yes how?

the high temperatures damage your hair...it doesn't matter if you are blowdrying you hair or ironing it with a straight iron......the high temp causes your hair to split (split ends) which then can not be "glued" together no matter how "magic" the serum is.....plus it also can cause the friziness you were talking about....my advice would be to limit how many times a week you will blow dry your hair

Does blow dry damage ur hair badly?and if yes how?

This is the best method to dry your hair. Of course sometimes you can鈥檛 escape using a hairdryer. But as far as possible, do allow your tresses to dry on their own.

Once you are out of the shower, take a nice thick towel and gently pat your hair dry from front to back. (Do not rub it vigorously with a towel. This can damage your hair.)

Wrap the towel around your head and let it soak up excess water.

After some time, unwrap the towel and, while your hair is still damp, comb it gently with a wide-toothed comb; this will allow your hair to dry out soft and smooth.

Avoid using a hair dryer because excessive blow drying can make your hair frizzy, dull and dry, often resulting in split ends and broken hair. It is best to let your hair dry out naturally. After combing your hair, just leave it alone and it will dry out nicely within an hour or so.

The Right Way To Use A Blow-Dryer?

After washing your hair, pat or squeeze it dry with a towel ?don鈥檛 towel dry it or rub it vigorously as hair is most fragile when wet, and any friction will also encourage tangling.

If you have longer hair and like it wrapped in a towel, turban style, for a few minutes after washing, comb your hair whilst your hair is still very wet. This will de-tangle your hair before you wrap it up and will minimize any painful knots when the towel comes off.

Before using the hairdryer, always pat or squeeze hair dry first. Not only will it take you an age to dry dripping wet hair, it is also bad news for your personal safety.

Always blow-dry hair with the flow of air pointing downwards. This will boost the hair鈥檚 shine, because you are encouraging all the cuticles to lay flat.

Make sure that the hairdryer is constantly moving ?leaving it on one spot can over-dry hair and make it dull and brittle.

Don鈥檛 hold the nozzle too close to the hair as this could result in overdrying. Generally, 10 to 15 cm away is a sensible distance.

For extra volume or lift, blow dry hair in the opposite direction. For example, tip your head upside down (or side to side) for all over volume.

I Want Curls. So How Do I Dry My Hair?

Always blow-dry before putting hair in rollers

If you have longer hair, don鈥檛 comb straight from the root to the tip ?because if you have any tangles this would force them one on top of the other. Instead, comb the bottom third of your hair and when your hair becomes tangle free, comb from root to tip. This method applies whether the hair is wet, dry or during conditioner application.

Always blow-dry hair from the roots to the ends, aiming heat downward. This helps prevent frizz, breakage and split ends. It also creates shine by flattening the cuticle.

Attach a diffuser to your dryer at low heat for controlling frizziness while defining your curl.

Let your hair cool down after removing curling iron, brush or hot rollers before brushing. This will help the curls hold better after brushing through.

Does blow dry damage ur hair badly?and if yes how?

if you put it on the hottest temperture yes. its better to put sirum on your hair befor you blow dry. then blow dry it on a warm setting!!

Does blow dry damage ur hair badly?and if yes how?

Blowdrying is all around awful for your hair. I only blowdry on emergencies. It is most awful for those with thin hair. Do you have thin hair? It's because you wash your hair too often. Oils that get created by your hair BECOME your hair. Rinsing your hair washes away these oils, and you hair becomes thin. Your hair becomes thin, it gets damaged by blowdrying. Blowdrying will damage your hair even more, and it get frizzy and you get split ends too quickly.

Does blow dry damage ur hair badly?and if yes how?

NO blow drying your hair does not make your hair damage it only drys it

Does blow dry damage ur hair badly?and if yes how?

yesh it does! hehe, cos your hair experience a sudden vast increase in temperature and cant adapt to it very well! lol

My hair is dry dry dry and really frizzy i also want it to grow faster i mean really fast what can i do?

Short of buying a wig, you can't make your hair grow any faster that is already is. Use some kind of a "leave-in" conditioner to help the dryness and frizz.

My hair is dry dry dry and really frizzy i also want it to grow faster i mean really fast what can i do?

Wash your hair with conditioning shampoo likie Garnier Fructis and brush it often. It will grow faster if you take more care of it!

Paul mitchel makes a good set.

Also do not blow dry your hair.

My hair is dry dry dry and really frizzy i also want it to grow faster i mean really fast what can i do?

it's hard to "make" your hair grow. to make it less frizzy, use a very moisturizing conditioner as well as a leave-in conditioner that you put on after you wash your hair, but before you dry it.

My hair is dry dry dry and really frizzy i also want it to grow faster i mean really fast what can i do?

there's something called LIVON or SILK AND SHINE available at the markets.. also try Mrs marino.. all three are good! but try one at a time

My hair is dry dry dry and really frizzy i also want it to grow faster i mean really fast what can i do?

you cant help your hair grow faster without extensions but egg white is really good for dry hair and shine , but be sure you use cold water in the rinse as you will have scrambled eggs on your hair, remember i have warned you!!!!

Wash every other day, just rinse it in between. Leave a SMALL amount of conditioner in when you wash it, use frizz serum, %26amp; do weekly condioning treatments. During the conditioning treatment masage your scalp well, this will increase circulation, resulting in more consistent growth.

My hair is dry dry dry and really frizzy i also want it to grow faster i mean really fast what can i do?

You can deep condtion your hair and wear a weave or wig for about three months and it will grow...at least that's how i got my hair to grow from middle neck length to about three inches past my shoulders. Make sure you deep condition your hair every week though.

use a moisturising shampoo like nexxus theropy shampoo and a protine based conditioner, like nexxus Karaphix conditioner to heal the damage to your hair. get trims every 4 weeks, to promote growth. also you won't want to wash your hair everyday, just conditionit. yuor natural oils are your best theropy. only wash 2-3 times a week and never consecutively. Your stylist can also recomend a treatment routine customised for your hair type. to prevent future damage, use only non alcohil, non silicone bassed products and keep blowdrying and heat styling to a minimum.

My hair is dry dry dry and really frizzy i also want it to grow faster i mean really fast what can i do?

I used rogaine for women. It worked great for me.

My hair is dry dry dry and really frizzy i also want it to grow faster i mean really fast what can i do?

First of all - try not to get stressed!! Your hair will grow more and be healthier if you are calmer, and if you get stressed you will not improve the condition.

Here is my advice:

Wash your hair less. Depending on your lifestyle, you don't have to wash your hair more than twice a week, especially if it is dry.

Use a product suitable for dry hair, such as John Frieda. Always use a conditioner. Comb your hair only very gently.

When you wah your hair, very gently give your scalp a massage with circular movements. This will stimulate the scalp.

Don't worry about the latest fashion for straight hair, frizzy hair looks very pretty.

Having your hair trimmed regularly helps it to grow faster and keeps it in good condition.

Enjoy your hair!!!

My hair is dry dry dry and really frizzy i also want it to grow faster i mean really fast what can i do?

Begin with your diet, eat more stuff with omega 3,6 oils, oily fish or supplements, also include proteins in diet. Massage hot oil into hair at least once a week...use oils such as cocoanut or almond oil...or this weird green (really smelly oil, I forget the name). Massage into scalp and keep in for min 30mins then wash out properly. See how that goes.

If all fails, follow the world....condition using conditioners, spray on some frizz ease or other serum and slap on the straightening irons baby!!!!!!!!!!

My hair is dry dry dry and really frizzy i also want it to grow faster i mean really fast what can i do?

well you should wash it with baby shampoo and combe it really goodand go to the hair salon. When you go to sleep tie your up

My hair is really dry and i just got it colored, how can I get it silky again?

I just got my hair colored a few days ago, they said the color would fade, as i wanted because I had died my hair a lot before this. But now my hair is really dry and frizzy. It used to be really really soft and silky. How can i get it like that again???

My hair is really dry and i just got it colored, how can I get it silky again?

use a leave in reconstructor. it is a kind of conditioner that you spray in your hair. I have pink hair dye in my hair and have found that it dryes out and poofs. I used the reconstructor and it worked great. you can get it at most hair salons. ask your stylist if this dosent work or just ask anyway

My hair is really dry and i just got it colored, how can I get it silky again?

Find a shampoo that is specifically for frizzy hair and then get a leave in conditioner.

My hair is really dry and i just got it colored, how can I get it silky again?

one product.... biosilk i swear by it, it makes my hair so soft its crazy. its by Farouk and its a hair serum and it smells sooo good!

My hair is really dry and i just got it colored, how can I get it silky again?

put some grease in it Fonzie... :-)

My hair is really dry and i just got it colored, how can I get it silky again?

i did the same thing...if you straighten your hair it makes it worse.

wash your hair every other day and use john frieda brilliant brunette or blonde. and john frieda 'frizz ease' every day while its wet and after it dries...hopefully in a few weeks itll be a lot better. :D good luck!

My hair is really dry and i just got it colored, how can I get it silky again?

BIOSILK... its insane they have different products.. anyone them are great. espcially liquid silk

My hair is really dry and i just got it colored, how can I get it silky again?

Beat an egg in a cup of milk. When it foams, rub it into the scalp.Leave it on for 5 minutes. Rinse the hair thoroughly with water.Carry out this routine twice a week for excellent results for dry damaged hair. Check out http://solutionsfordryhair.blogspot.com/ for more info.

My hair is really dry and frizzy?

what are the best shempoos out there for my hair type?also i like to straightin my hair what are some good things to use so ur hair wont be dry after u starightin it??

My hair is really dry and frizzy?

Stop straightening it. Wavy/curly hair is soooo much nicer than dry frizzy staight hair.

Or.. if your hair is curly / wavy: Add styling creme, blow dry. Set in really big hot rollers. When you take out the rollers, your hair will be straight with some bounce.

Avoid using mousse, it can dry out hair. Try a hair mask. They work great.

My hair is really dry and frizzy?

a professional sylist can help you soooooooo much to know what products to use.

Avoid anything that has alcohol as the main ingredient as that's a drying agent.

Dry hair needs a lot of moisture!

My hair is really dry and frizzy?

I suggest you use Paul Mitchell's products. They offer a vast array of shampoos, conditioners, serums, sprays, straighteners, etc. I use the conditioner for dry, unruly hair and I supplement it with Skinny Hair Serum for dry, frizzy hair. My hair is completely manageable and feels like silk. Shop around you local beauty supply store.

My hair is really dry and frizzy?

Try a leave on conditioner. Or buy a shampoo for damaged hair so it has extra vitamins in it to add some luster to your hair. The leave on conditioner will help plus tone down frizziness. I have heard by using a hair straightener on a regular basis causing your hair to get dry as when you straighten it you pull down the hair with the straightener and strip it of its natural nutrients. So use the leave on conditioner and find a product like "Leave and Shine" - you spray it on your hair before you straighten it and it will protect your hair from the heat of the straightener plus add a nice shine to it.

good luck :)

My hair is really dry and frizzy?

Um my hair gets frizzy and disgusting like that and I use Panttine and Sauve it helps!!! Or use the dandruft stuff my friend uses that. Or just brush it instead of straighning it maybe that will help!!

My hair is really dry and frizzy?

hi! you can use a hair oil before you shampoo your hair. try using pantene for dry damaged hair. after your shampoo when your hair is wet apply serum. eat a lot of proteins, if you are not a vegeterian eat fish, but if you are a vegeterian you can rely on beans, peas and drink milk. avoid straightening your hair as straightners make your hair frizzy and they give you split ends.

My hair is really dry and frizzy?

As a hairstylist I would Suggest Matrix. They have an excellent line of shampoos and conditions. I would use a color care shampoo just because it is less harsh on chemically treated hair. See the first link below. I would also use conditioning balm as my normal condition (it is great) and then once a week I would use a Hair mask (se the link below). If you follow these steps your hair will look amazing. Also her is a little trick: after styling your hair use Rusk Sheer Brilliance - it is a liquid that adds shine and helps close the split ends making your hair look so healthy and shiny even when the ends or bad. It is a miracle worker.

Is your hair dry?

does it get dry easily?

Is your hair dry?

Yes it is very dry, I have found that not washing it everyday helps. Your natural oils condition your hair and make it look more healthy, so don't wash it everyday.

Is your hair dry?

I think my hair is dry. But sometimes it looks really healthy. I try to do oil treatments every few months to help fight against the breakage and what not.

Is your hair dry?

Sometimes

Is your hair dry?

well no if i use the right conditioner.. it all depends on what ur using and the temperture.. also garnier can make any hair dry!

Is your hair dry?

yes!!tr using a deep condtioner

Is your hair dry?

is you take care of it good, then no.

Is your hair dry?

no i keep it oiled at all time

Is your hair dry?

yes and yes and talk about frizzy

Is your hair dry?

I think my hair never been dry!

Is your hair dry?

My hair is very dry. I condition it every time I wash and have even used the hot oil treatments. It's not dead ends because it's still the same after I have it trimmed. I have tried everything and it's still always dry.

Is your hair dry?

My scalp gets terribly dry during this time of year. I had to shave my head so I could work moisturizers into my scalp! :-o

Is your hair dry?

I naturally have coarse hair, so yeah my hair feels dry to me

Is your hair dry?

yes and i put a ton of condidioner in it and then my hair is soft :)

Is your hair dry?

My hair is always dry but that's cause I dye it too much!

Is your hair dry?

When I first read this, I thought you meant dry as in wet/dry! lol. My hair is naturally not dry. My hair gets oily a lot, like every day. It kind of sucks... Anyway, no, my hair is not dry.

If you did mean wet/dry, it takes hours to dry.

Is your hair dry?

yes it is and it does get dry easily. So what i do is drink lots of water. Get hot oil treatments every 2weeks when i get my hair done. And i get moisturizing and protein treatments once a month. Plus I take Enzymatic Therapy Dr. Choice for Woman Stage Two multivitamins and silica supplements(which is awesome for your hair, skin, and nails) everyday. So my hair is now very healthy.

Do u suggest bitter almond oil for moisturizing and softening dry and colored hair?

Do u suggest bitter almond oil for moisturizing and softening dry and colored hair

Do u suggest bitter almond oil for moisturizing and softening dry and colored hair?

I know the first answer is a home remedy but alberto vo 5 hot oil treatment is way better for your hair. and you won't smell like a salad. hope this helped

Do u suggest bitter almond oil for moisturizing and softening dry and colored hair?

almond oil, a banana, and a avocado, mix them in a blender, put it in your hair(leave for 30mins), and wash out with a mild shampoo+conditioner =]

My hair is thick, dry and wavy, its about 2 inches past my shoulders...?

in the past I straightened it but I've started working out everyday and now need to leave it curly because washing it everyday and blow drying it will just make my hair dryer. What is the best hair cut for my thick, dry, mid-length wavy mess!

My hair is thick, dry and wavy, its about 2 inches past my shoulders...?

my hair used to be thick, dry, and wavy and when I got my hair cut a few years ago, it went curly. At the time I didn't like it (no one had curly hair), but now I love my hair. What the lady did that cut my hair was put it into layers making it slightly thinner than what it was. This made the hair go curly. But to tame it, she gave me this moose to use. The length that best works for me with the same type of hair is about 2-3 inches below my shoulders (about your length i suppose). It really works. I wouldn't cut the hair too short because then it will get too curly and too wild. Curly hair is really in right now and I've learn to love my hair.

My hair is thick, dry and wavy, its about 2 inches past my shoulders...?

Id say plenty of layers to thin it out. Some good styling moose (John Frieda Frizzease is fab) and some leave in conditioner (i like the Aussie one)!

Did you know you can get portable straightners???

My hair is thick, dry and wavy, its about 2 inches past my shoulders...?

my hair use to be like that but i use hair repair helps it be mosterised and long hair about 5 or 6 inches after my sholders i dont have think hair anymore and when i blow dry it it does not dry out

My hair is thick, dry and wavy, its about 2 inches past my shoulders...?

Try having lots of layers put in to it and also when you wash it try leaving the conditioner in it this should help with it being dry.

Go to the hair dresser and have a treatment done and its not that expensive really

My hair is thick, dry and wavy, its about 2 inches past my shoulders...?

A neck line cut in razor layers, easy to maintain and Tye up and for the dryness I recommend a good hair masque for moisturising...

My hair is thick, dry and wavy, its about 2 inches past my shoulders...?

You can consider the Japanese straight perm, I had the same exact problem as you. I used to get my hair blown out every week at the salon, but once I began to work out regularly, that was hard to do. It would get all sweaty and I couldnt NOT wash it after a sweaty workout. It also was getting expensive. So I paid $300 and got the perm, and now I can wash it after my workouts and just mildly dry it and voila! it's straight and silky w/o blowing it out. Hope this helps.

My hair is thick, dry and wavy, its about 2 inches past my shoulders...?

you should buy a hair oil....i think v05 makes one. It will make ur hair less dry. and go to the salon and ask them to cut ur hair in a way that accents ur facial features............but don't go to hair cuttery. go to a salon where a lot of people come out pleased with their hair.

My hair is thick, dry and wavy, its about 2 inches past my shoulders...?

Have it cut short

Hair-so healthy after hairdressers, so dry at home?!?

Ok, so my hair was dyed blonde, but i recently had it put back to its original colour. I have pretty good straighteners, and i'm pretty sure it's not GHD's that make my hair so great after the hairdressers!! My hair is EXTREMELY dry, and feels awful! and the depressing thing is i just got it cut last week at the hairdressers, and they washed it and striaghtened it and it felt so nice. it felt soft and healthy and i didn't have to straighten it at all! i am convinced it is the serum and conditioner they use not the GHD's, does anyone know any really good products I could use on my hair?!

Hair-so healthy after hairdressers, so dry at home?!?

Buy a really good condition, one that hydrates, thats the real secret, none of these creams and lotions they sell, just a really good conditioner!!!!!!!

Hair-so healthy after hairdressers, so dry at home?!?

It's true, after you go to the hair dressers your hair looks amazing but when your at home it's terrible or just not as good! Well some great products I found that work is Elucence, Mark., Warren Tricomi style smoothing shampoo, Fructices's deep conditioning mask for hair is really great you can get it at any drug store for 4$. Look around I'm sure you'll find what your looking for if not, it would be great if next time you go to the salon ask what they use how to use it cause there there to help! well...hopefully! =)

Tips on how to deep condition especially for coloured dry hair:

Put on a deep conditioning mask on shampooed hair

Cover it with a plastic shower cap

Deep conditionars work best when applied with heat so put it under a haeting cap or mabey a wer hot towel or just a hot towel.

rinse out and then style.

Hair-so healthy after hairdressers, so dry at home?!?

Try a Clairol conditioner......one of the ones that come in 30ml metal tubes that you can find in large boots stores (blond, red or brunette). For super conditioning add lots, pile hair on head, wrap in clingfilm followed by towel and wait for 5-10 minutes before disassembling and rinsing.

Hair-so healthy after hairdressers, so dry at home?!?

Buy the shampoo, con and serum ect at the hair salon they shuld sell products

Hair-so healthy after hairdressers, so dry at home?!?

First: Purchase a mild Shampoo (To Clarify hair, I will explain why)

Second: TRIM your hair ends (Maybe 1 1/2 to 2 inches)

Third: Here's the magic part: Mix olive oil, almond oil, coconut oil, avocado oil and a "little" honey, (honey u will have to heat so it can blend). Either leave on ALL day or all night (if all nite, DONT use honey)

Use a teaspoon of every oil and honey,.... a little more if ur hair is long or a little less if ur hair is short

Repeat this 3-4 times a week, your hair will grow like a weed, fortify, reconstruct, moisturize, soften %26amp; remove all frizz I promise,..... and it will be super shiny!!!!

The clairifying shampoo will help take the oil off your hair when u shower

You can also use a conditioner but get a light conditioner that wont wiegh ur hair down, becuz u can over condition, I use herbl essences "clean happy" conditioner.

When I do this at nite, I wake up, shampoo %26amp; condition, rinse and style as usual. Has worked for years

You can find olive oil anywere, but the other oils you will have to buy at a local organics store, wholes foods or BJ's health corner.

How can ikeep my hair dry when i am swimming and wairing ahairmask to protect t from water theyjust

I go a lot to swim, but i know it is not good for your hair. Thats why i wear a mask(a cap) on my head. The problem is that my hair keeps getting wet. I have jussed drifferent kinds but my hair keeps getting wet. The last time i even bought a expansive one (nike), but even this one doesn't help. Does anyone know why? is it because the way i wear it or because my hair? i realy get creazy about this!!

Thank you!!

How can ikeep my hair dry when i am swimming and wairing ahairmask to protect t from water theyjust don't work

maybe your heads 2 big

How can ikeep my hair dry when i am swimming and wairing ahairmask to protect t from water theyjust don't work

you could try to swim with your head out of the water but i hate that most swim caps don't really work to keep water out. If you don't want your hair to be damaged you should get a clarifying shampoo to use afterwards and wet your hair before you go in the pool

How can ikeep my hair dry when i am swimming and wairing ahairmask to protect t from water theyjust don't work

It's fine for your hair, just amke sure you rinse the chlorine out when you're done swimming. Also what helps is leaving in some excess conditioner when you wash your hair so that when you swim the chlorine doesn't penetrate your hair as much. Don't waste your money on expensive equipment, nothign will owkr, you're in water you're hair will get wet, get over it. But those are some things that may help keep your hair a bit healthier!

How can ikeep my hair dry when i am swimming and wairing ahairmask to protect t from water theyjust don't work

you are going to get your hair wet, you are in the water. If you want to protect your hair there are some great products to get teh chlorine out. You may want to put some conditioner in your hair first, that will protect it while you swim.

How can ikeep my hair dry when i am swimming and wairing ahairmask to protect t from water theyjust don't work

shave it all off and keep it in a dry place. You aren't going to find a cap that keeps out the water. Maybe one of those deep water diving suits could keep you dry. Or, track and field!

How can ikeep my hair dry when i am swimming and wairing ahairmask to protect t from water theyjust don't work

it u get your hair wet before u get into the pool your hair wont absorb the chlorine as much hence ur hair wont turn green

How can ikeep my hair dry when i am swimming and wairing ahairmask to protect t from water theyjust don't work

A swim cap will not keep your hair dry. the swim cap is to reduce drag in the water or make you faster. If you want to protect your hair use a shampoo that treats chlorine damage also use a good conditioner.

My hair dry up quickly n its not silky what treatment should i go cross?

I used to have the same problem where my hair was always dry. I went to Sally's Beauty Supply and they recommended L'Oreal Nature's Therapy Mega Moisture Nurturing Creme. You use it like a regular hair conditioner that you rinse out. It works really well. I use the shampoo that goes with it too. It's called L'Oreal Nature's Therapy Mega Moisture Nurturing Shampoo. My hair isn't dry anymore and it's back to being healthy again. It actually didn't take that long before I started seeing results. I've also used a deep conditioner that's made by Ion, which I also bought at Sally's beauty supply. It makes your hair really silky.

Also, do you color your hair or use any heat styling appliances? If you do, I suggest you limit your use or just don't use them at all. They can do a lot of damage to your hair and really dry it out.

Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum ? does it work for spilt ends and dry hair?

I use this after I shower and then blow dry my hair. What it has done for me is keep my hair smooth and straight after I blow dry. I have dry hair with frizzes. Not sure about the split ends though.

Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum ? does it work for spilt ends and dry hair?

Discuss it with a local hair stylist

My hair is really dry & wont grow what gives?

Okay so my hair is culry, but its not a bad curly where i have to use my straightner but i do because its so much softer and easier to maintain when its sleek and straight; ive decided to give my hair a break for the entire summer meaning no straightner and deep conditioniing treatments every now and then before the summer my hair was in pretty bad shape and its getting better since ive been letting it air dry but it isnt as soft as id like it to be and it isnt growing at all; any tips on how to help my hair get softer and possibly grow faster?

My hair is really dry %26amp; wont grow what gives?

I have curly hair too, and it can be frustrating, I know.

After messing with your hair for so long, you need a deep, deep treatment. Really, all of that chemical deep conditioner stuff is great, but for me the results only last about 2 days. Which is lame. Heres a natural recipe that always gives me great hair for days and days.

Ana's Magical Hair Guacamole

1/2 an avocado

4 tablespoons of olive oil

1 egg

2 tablespoons of honey

2 Tablespoons of real mayo

Just blend it well and slather it on, leave on for up to 6 hours (thats what I do) and rinse in the shower.

Ok, I know it sounds silly, but it really helps my hair. The natural fats in the olive oil and avocado replenish your hair and give it moisture. The mayo and egg enforce it with protein to make it break less, so your hair will grow out and stay stronger. The honey seals the cuticle of your hair and gives you a great shine.

Please, if you try anything, try this. hah. Also, its important to get your ends cut every two months, because is if they stay split they slpit more and more and more into a big frizz ball.

Some more tips:

Only brush your hair in the shower with conditioner in it. No round brushes, just wide toothed combs, otherwise you're snapping your hair and breaking the cuticle, which releases the moisture and its just a bad idea. haha.

If you have your hair back in a ponytail, its tempting to just rip it out with one hand, but DON'T. Really, I always do that and it's destroyed the back of my hair, it wont even curl anymore. Try coating your hair tie in a little olive oil or conditioner to make it come off smoothly.

Email me for anything else, I'm friends with Paul Labrecque of the Paul Labrecque Salon and Spa here in NYC, he's done Reese Witherspoon's hair and even mine, and he told me all of the secrets.

STOP STRAIGHTENING IT!

Adding heat to your hair is possibly the worst thing you can do to it, besides dying it. It's a good thing you took a break this summer, but don't start straightening again until it's completely healthy. And when you do straighten it, don't do it everyday, maybe once or twice a week. Whatever you do, don't get it Japanese straightened, it can really damage your hair. Over time, if you take care of it, you're hair will get better. You should find a shampoo and conditioner that treats damaged hair.

My hair is really dry %26amp; wont grow what gives?

beer makes hair grow soooooooooooo fast... drink beer... as for healthier hair try mayo!! appy it maybe once every three days... for an hour. then just wash it off with shampoo... it may seem yucky but it works and its cheaper than buying any other hair product...

My hair is really dry %26amp; wont grow what gives?

multi-vitamins might help. also try aussie moist shampoo %26amp; conditioner. don't use too much unless you really need it. also try hello hydration shampoo%26amp; conditioner by herbal essences. both brands work.

My hair is really dry %26amp; wont grow what gives?

I have the same problem. I staighten mine also. However, the heat is murder on the hair and the ends will show it. have you had it trimmed lately? I use a light leave in conditioner. Like. Herbal Essence "Breaks Over", after I shampoo. It does help. At least it has helped with my hair. Good luck. !

My hair is really dry %26amp; wont grow what gives?

Mines the same I found using heat protection by tresseme helps giving me a soft, silky shine. My hair won't grow either I have heard that horse shampoo works and gettin it trimmed often makes it grow.

I have long hair, dry and unmanagable and i can't cut them. What to do to change the style?

I have always made a hair bun jst bcoz they are not so good so i cant let them looose. Is there any way that i can without cutting my hair do something else than a hair bun - Something u can call like a Makeover thing.

I have long hair, dry and unmanagable and i can't cut them. What to do to change the style?

I have the same hair. When I "do" my hair rather than put it up in a ponytail, I wash, condition, gel or mousse, and then blow dry my hair upside down while "scrunching" the curls, pausing to lightly mist with hairspray a couple of times. Flip your head up, and Voila! wild, sexy look. Hot oil treatment every couple of weeks is good too. I just use regular old cheap veggie oil.

I have long hair, dry and unmanagable and i can't cut them. What to do to change the style?

sorry i'm not a girl.

I have long hair, dry and unmanagable and i can't cut them. What to do to change the style?

I always wear my hair in a bun or pony-tail. I would get a short hair cut but Im doing Locks of Love.

I have long hair, dry and unmanagable and i can't cut them. What to do to change the style?

shave your head.

Hair dry from recent bleaching..?

i bleached my otherwise healthy hair about five times 6 weeks ago. now i covered the color and just want 'flowy' silky' how can i get it?

Hair dry from recent bleaching..?

Most likely you need a protein conditioning treatment. But first you need to have your stylist do an elasticity test to make sure you need protein, not moisture. Adding protein to hair when it' not necessary will cause serious brittleness and lead to breakage. It's an easy test that only requires your hair to be wet. Nothing that should cost any extra. You can opt for your stylist to do the treatment or ask her to recommend something you can do at home. If you did a tint-back (went back darker over the bleached hair) then you shouldve had a filler done first. If they didn't fill your hair most likely your dark hair will not be a pretty, natural color and will fade. Good Luck!!

Hair dry from recent bleaching..?

Nice job, you've sucessfully stripped your hair down to straw! Hate to break it to you, but you'll just have to wait until it grows out.

Hair dry from recent bleaching..?

First, why did you BLEACH it? Second, your hair won't nearly be as soft and silky as it was before you did anything harsh to it. Try to stay away from heat styling tools. They will break your hair since your hair is now damaged from the hairdye. If you want a quick fix, mix 2 tablespoons of olive oil, one avocado (peeled) and coconut milk into your hair. Let stand in their for as long as you can handle that! Atleast two hours you will see good results, wash out with a mild shampoo, but don't use too much, and condition as usual. You're hair should feel great, but after this hair coloring that you did, it will take a while to get back to the healthy hair you once had! Good luck!

Hair dry from recent bleaching..?

Ok this is wht we call a hammam in the middle east, you went your hair wash it with yr shampoo then put huge dollops of conditioner on yous hair and close it up in a bath cap and sit under a steamer, fr half an hr, do this once every week you will recover yr silky hair in no time.

Hair dry from recent bleaching..?

Try using a hot oil treatment on your hair!

Hair dry from recent bleaching..?

Your hair sounds like it is damaged thats why it is so dry, you might have to cut off the dead dry ends, and regarding the achieveing of silky flowy locks you will no doubt need some intense conditioning, plus othe additional hair treatments, to bring your hair back to some normality, you proberly take a trip to the hair dressers to get more advice, until then keep using products that are specially for dry damaged hair, and always use a conditioner after shampooing, maybe even a hair mayonaise also. Good Luck.

Hair dry from recent bleaching..?

my sister did the same thing, went from dark brunette to platinum blonde. she only washes her hair with shampoo once a week. the other days she puts Nexus Humectress conditioner in it, combs through with a wide tooth comb, then rinses and styles. once a week she puts either mayonaise or olive oil in her hair, wraps in plastic wrap and sleeps in it - rinse the next morning. her hair is beautiful and silky! good luck

Hair dry from recent bleaching..?

Definitely not shampooing every day would help. Also, condition, condition, condition and then put in a leave-in conditioner!

Hair dry from recent bleaching..?

I've heard that you can buy protien stuff to put in your hair from Sally' Beauty Supply. It's call aphogee treatment, it's about $8. Here's a link to a forum. These girls say it worked miracles on their hair.

Hair dry from recent bleaching..?

redken has allsoft and smoothdown products that are excellent for your problem good luck

Hair dry from recent bleaching..?

since ur ok with using common household items on ur hair, then trim it %26amp; smooth canola oil through it twice a week. no, w8. use vitamin e lotion, for real, that's good 4 it.

What is the website that could help me to find the current and voltage for t.v,labtop.macrove,and dr

can u help me coz i have to used these wabsite for my project i will be thankful for u guysssssss pleazzzzzzzzzzz

What is the website that could help me to find the current and voltage for t.v,labtop.macrove,and dry hair?

You have to do the math yourself. Different products use different amount of current. There is no set amount of values for a TV,Laptop, Microwave, or a hair dryer. If you live in the US, the most likely value of voltage for all of these items is 120 volts. The current can be locate on the nameplate of each of these items, along with the voltage. Here are some good places to look for nameplate locations...

TV- back of tv, get some adult help to look.

Laptop- bottom.

Microwave- open the door, look at door edges or around the opening.

Hair Dryer- there is no nameplate, but there is a wattage. to find current take the wattage and divide the voltage into it

1200w/120v=10a (for example)

Hope this is helpful with the limited info given.

-jasleen

My hair is sooooooooooo dry all of sudden?

stpo putting oil in it for a while to see what happens and if that don't help try to find a shampoo that is for dry hair and try it

My hair is sooooooooooo dry all of sudden?

Try using a hot oil treatment for your hair once a week, and don't wash your hair everyday, trust me, you don't need to. Condition it everyday, and wash your hair about two to three times a week.

I use Dove conditioner and leave-in conditioner, and it works very well. My hair is naturally wavy and frizzy, and it just looks like crap, but ever since I started using that, it's made my hair wavy and silky.

My hair is sooooooooooo dry all of sudden?

Aloe Vera,is a good remedy for dry hair. It is obtained from the leaves of the Aloe Vera plant. Break the leaf and squeeze out the liquid inside, apply this liquid to your scalp, keep for about an hour and wash it off . Check out http://solutionsfordryhair.blogspot.com/ for more info.

Does your hair dry straight when you add mousse & just blow dry?

i've managed it on one side but on the other a bit still sticks out, i'm new to all this straight hair-do stuff so any advice is greatly appreciated

Does your hair dry straight when you add mousse %26amp; just blow dry?

you will probably need to use a brush on the other side to style it in, as unfortunately hair has a tendancy to grow in one direction which means one side will slope in and the other will slope out, we all need a bit of help once in a while thats why we have such great products available now, but you will be fine with a hairdryer and a brush, happy straightening. xxx

Does your hair dry straight when you add mousse %26amp; just blow dry?

your'e welcome, thank you for choosing my answer! Report It

Does your hair dry straight when you add mousse %26amp; just blow dry?

try a flat iron or a larger curling iron to straighten hair if it still seems poofy

Does your hair dry straight when you add mousse %26amp; just blow dry?

It will if you have it done at a salon, but I think it will be hard for you to achieve poker straight hair just from blow drying alone. Use straightners to get the hair looking more sleek afterwards.

Does your hair dry straight when you add mousse %26amp; just blow dry?

No mine doesn't! I use a flat iron.

Does your hair dry straight when you add mousse %26amp; just blow dry?

Use volume moose and comb threw it as you blow dry it..

Does your hair dry straight when you add mousse %26amp; just blow dry?

Try using one of those hair irons, the ceramic ones work the best for me. Just take sections and run the iron down your hair. I do this after put in gel and blow dry it. It seems to work best when your hair is slightly damp, but not really wet.

Does your hair dry straight when you add mousse %26amp; just blow dry?

dont put mousse in it just blow dry it straight .

Does your hair dry straight when you add mousse %26amp; just blow dry?

try using a flat brush to guide the hair to turn under slightly, then, just before finishing, point the hairdryer striaght down the hair shaft from the top of the head and this will stop the flicky out bits!

Does your hair dry straight when you add mousse %26amp; just blow dry?

get a round vent brush section your hair and and pull straight

Does your hair dry straight when you add mousse %26amp; just blow dry?

as i answered in ur previous Q, GHDS are great and they come with a DVD that shows u how to use them to creat different types of styles, it is just magic! i love it.

their products are good too, so i would suggest that u invest on the summer limited edition, it comes in a gorgeous bag and has all the products needed to style ur hair and the straightner all for ?42.00(lucky you! i got it for a lot more expensive a few yrs ago)

Does your hair dry straight when you add mousse %26amp; just blow dry?

No. the mousse makes it poofy. If you don't want to use a flat iron, then get a big paddle brush and a product for straightening, like Chi oil, or anti frizz cream. Then blow dry it while brushing it straight. Then it will be straight.

My hair is quite dry..do treatments really work or do i have to cut it?

hey my hair was very curly but i have straightened it.... it was very healthy even after i straightened it but my hair has a tendency to become dry after some time (even when my hair was curly). Could the dryness of the hair have to do with the weather or stress? and do hair treatments and serums really help? thanks

My hair is quite dry..do treatments really work or do i have to cut it?

Yes conditioning your hair can truly help if your not adding a lot of heat to your hair, meaning blow drying or using a flat iron these things really fry the hair especially if you do it often.

L'Oreal Mermaids is a great deep conditioner, Frizz Ez has a deep reconstructing conditioner that is good too and Hask placenta conditioner is good too.

1. Wash your hair and preferably let it air dry

2. section your hair into 4 sections

3. Apply conditioner within each section in small parts 1-2 inches diameter of hair start nearer to the root but not on scalp thoroughly saturate all of your hair

4. If it's long enough braid into 2 or 4 braids if it's not that long put it up in clips or in a bun place a scarf on your head to promote your own body heat

5. Preferably leave it in overnight if not able to at least leave it in for a few hours so that your body temp. will help the conditioner penetrate the hair shaft.

6. Rinse it out and you will feel a difference

If your hair is extremely dry do this once a week if not so bad do it twice a month and if moderately dry do it once a month

The reason to apply it to dry hair is the conditioner applied on wet hair simply coats the hair and slides off, when the hair is dry the conditioner is able to actually penetrate the hair shaft with your own body heat as an activator

My hair is quite dry..do treatments really work or do i have to cut it?

I think you should do both it works better

My hair is quite dry..do treatments really work or do i have to cut it?

get frequent trims, like every 6 weeks... And use a hair mask. fructis makes a really good one, or neutrogena triple moisture....

My hair is quite dry..do treatments really work or do i have to cut it?

if you dye, blow-dry, put a whole bunch of gunk in your hair, and all that good stuff, yes it will get dried out. condition your hair about twice a week. you should also cut the dead ends (if you have any).

My hair is quite dry..do treatments really work or do i have to cut it?

Hair can represent what you are going through at the moment.. As for dryness, I dunno... BUT, mayonaise does wonders... Try it.

My hair is quite dry..do treatments really work or do i have to cut it?

i also have very very dry hair that i blowdry and straighten, but i use deep conditioner when i wash it (i like NIce n Easy). i also use serum both before and after i straighten it and it makes it soft and doesn't weigh it down. i'd opt for a serum with a sunscreen in it if you're gonna be in direct sunlight for more than about an hour-that can really damage and dry your hair out

My hair is quite dry..do treatments really work or do i have to cut it?

do treatments and cut it because if you just treat it the new hair will dry and die too if you do both it will help alto more. hope u take my advise..........=)

My hair is quite dry..do treatments really work or do i have to cut it?

you could put leave-in-conditioner in your hair by nexxus and leave it for 3 minutes and rinse it and it really leaves your hair shiny and smelling beautiful and it really, really look healthy.

Healthy hair tips:

Use a moisturizing shampoo condtioner and leave in creme. I reccomened Neutrogena Triple Moisture, shampoo conditioner and deep recovery hair mask. It nourishes and

revitalizes dry dull damaged hair to softer shinier healthier hair everytime you wash it

Reviews:

Neutrogena.com

If you dye your hair alot, leave your hair alone and wait to dye it atleast 3 years later or so. Hair dye has terrible chemicals that kill dry/damage your hair.

Brush your hair before shampooing and conditioner so your hair won't be tangeled and managable.

Comb your hair about 20 times each side so your natural oils can fall into the rest of your hair for natural shine

Don't wash your hair everyday try 3 times a week, Washing hair everyday strips the natural oils of your hair into duller dry hair.

Discontinue to heat style your hair or your hair will end up more dry/damaged, wait till it's completely healthy and maybe heat style once a week.

Avoid combing hair while wet, gently use a wide tooth comb, hair is very vulnerable while wet and can break off easily.

Don't put your hair into pigtails, buns or ponytails while wet, that causes split ends, breakage and damage.

Deep condition twice a week to bring back moisture to your hair.

Trim your hair tips every 4-6 weeks to promote healthy hair grow and prevent split ends from happening.

While shampooing massage your scalp with your fingertips slowly, not with your nails, nails damage the scalp and nails tend to be dirty. it's not necessary to shampoo the ends, then rinse with warm water to open the hair cuticles.

While conditioner leave on for about 2-4 minutes so you can get great results then comb hair with wide tooth comb then rinse with very cold water to help seal the hair cuticles.

If you use gel/hairspray/moose stop using them. They damage and dry up your hair because of the alchohol it contains.

If you use heat appliaces (blowdryers, curling irons, hair straightener) use a heat protecter spray so it'll protect your hair from heat.

If hair is really dry, go to the salon to get a deep treatment on your hair.

Once a month use a special deep conditioning treatment like olive oil, vitamin e oil, mayonaisse, eggs, hot oil treatment, castor oil, coconut oil almond oil or avocado.

Take multivimains, vitamin e, follic acid or prenatal vitamins to promote healthy hair growth.

Drink lots of water for shinier/healthier hair and eat lots of protein and healthy food like meat, milk, cheese, peanut butter, eggs pasta, cooked beans and raw vegetables.

If your in the sun alot buy a cap or a hoodie to protect your hair from the sun, heat damages and drys out your hair.

Buy a leave-in-conditioner/leave-in conditioner/creme to moisturize your hair all day long and don't rinse.

After your out of the shower set your blowdryer on cool setting and blowdryer your hair for 2 minutes, this will help seal the hair cuticles for a smooth shiny surface.

While combing hair, comb it gentle to avoid breakage.

My hair is vry dry and full of split ends?

go to your stylist or haordresser and ask them how to moisten your hair...you could also get it cut to get rid of the split ends!

My hair is vry dry and full of split ends?

You should get your hair deep conditioned once a month. It feels so nice after. And get a trim also.

My hair is vry dry and full of split ends?

try nexus products they are more expensive but they do work.

My hair is vry dry and full of split ends?

First, get the split ends cut. Don't blow dry your hair because its going to make it worse. Try Dove or Pantene. If you want your hair smooth, follow these directions.

1.wet your hair

2.shampoo. lather

3. rinse

4. conditioner. lather

5. brush your hair. you shouldnt rinse it out yet

6. now you rinse it out. brush a few times while rinsing.

if you want straight hair, get magic straight. But beware, if you get it, you can't wash your hair for about 3 days. My friend did it but she looks prettier.

My hair is vry dry and full of split ends?

You should trim the ends, that's true, and try a good reconstructor. Joico makes a great one called K-Pak, but you can get the generic version at Sallys for less. Leave it on as long as you have time to, and put a shower cap on to help retain heat.

My hair is vry dry and full of split ends?

you may have to cut off all the damaged ends!!! but it will be healthier because most likely no shampoo can really recover damaged split ends.

My hair is vry dry and full of split ends?

Use almond oil for massage and Pantene green for wash.

My hair is vry dry and full of split ends?

use garnier fructis my hair was exactly like u described urs trust me i started using garnier fructis sleek %26amp;shine shampoo and conditionar it is straight, silky, bouncy and thick. and yeah blow ur hair once in a week. KEEP USING HAIR OIL TWICE A WEEK. parashute hair oil is the best!!!!!!!!

How can I "un-poof" and smooth/defrizz my hair after I blow dry it?

After I dry it my hairs on the top whole layer seems to poof out and not in a good way. It looks frizzy rather than smooth. Not sure if I should use a gel, cream or spray in my hair afterwards or maybe I need a better shampoo/conditioner set.

How can I "un-poof" and smooth/defrizz my hair after I blow dry it?

My favorite shampoo/conditioner is Control Freak by Tigi. It really helps with the frizz...but not as much as a high quality straightener (like a Chi). If you get the right kind of straightener, you can skip the blow drying process. If your hair is curly, use a curl enhancer and a dab of Frizz Ease.

Good luck!

How can I "un-poof" and smooth/defrizz my hair after I blow dry it?

Try a blow-dry leave-in conditioner, and when you blow dry, use a brush to hold the hair out smooth as you dry it. My daughter has thick hair that's just a bit bushy, and when she used this method it turned out looking like "Pantene" hair! I was amazed.

How can I "un-poof" and smooth/defrizz my hair after I blow dry it?

Really what i do is kind of play with it for a few minutes, just run your hands through it without any chemicals it seems to calm my hair a lil, and If you still are unhappy you can try a straightener, it smooths, defrizzes and straightens.

How can I "un-poof" and smooth/defrizz my hair after I blow dry it?

If you have a perm or relaxer you just put some mousse on it but if you don't under the comb then dryer you go but I use Africa's Best

How can I "un-poof" and smooth/defrizz my hair after I blow dry it?

Do you use a flat iron? Defrizz or a leave in conditioner? When I am drying and straightening my hair I do it the night before, seems to take overnight for the hair follicles to "shrink".

How can I "un-poof" and smooth/defrizz my hair after I blow dry it?

John Frieda's anti frizz serum is awesome, always voted the best by mags like Glamour, Marie Claire etc. But you need to smooch it on to yout hair while its wert, then blowdry.

How can I "un-poof" and smooth/defrizz my hair after I blow dry it?

I think that would be a good idea to get anti frizz shapoo/conditioner. u could alsop use john freidas FRIZZ EASE!!!!; )

How can I "un-poof" and smooth/defrizz my hair after I blow dry it?

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM UNTIL... I STARTEDUSING DOVE SHAMPOO,CONDITIONER, AND MOUSSE ( I NEVER USE MOUSSE EITHER!) AND MY HAIR IS PERFECT NOW DAILY! I SWEAR BY IT!

How can I "un-poof" and smooth/defrizz my hair after I blow dry it?

i like to use garne fructis sleek and shine it works for my hair but maybe give it a try i like it and it smeels good

How can I "un-poof" and smooth/defrizz my hair after I blow dry it?

use a serum then flat iron
