I've never tried carrot oil, but I have tried olive oil, and it works well for dry hair.

Carrot oil is great but you have to wash it out with a strong yet subtle shampoo like Dove.

Also great oils are

-Olive oil (boosts shine)

-Almond oil (boosts strenght)

-Lemon juice is great if you want to lighten the color--as is beer

yah i have it in my hair right now because my hair is dry and its important to oil it everyday because hair breaks easier when dry. its really good for your hair, just put a little in hair and it makes ur hair shine, doesnt even look oily

u can also use this oil as a hot oil treatment...it has directions on the bottle on how to use it. u can get it at walgreens.
