first get a hair cut and buy a shampoo and conditioner to help protect against damage and then buy the protector spray and use that before youstraighten your hair!

Also try changing brands of shampoo and conditioner. I was using tresemme for ages (the bottles are huge) and my hair was really dry and frizzed. I changed to Herbal Essences and it's lovely again. I'm convinced that your hair becomes accustomed the the shampoo and likes a change!

Try pantene. They have a line of shampoo specifically made for damaged hair. One use and you can feel the difference in your hair. You can pick the shampoo and conditioner that you feel fits your needs and that will work best for you.

Definitely keep the ends trimmed. The damaged ends of your hair can travel up the hair shaft, and worsen the situation. I would get a leave in conditioner, Infusium 23 is good.

usually, you should cut the tipps and then use masks. If you want to avoid chemistry, use olive oil at least 30minutes before washing your hair, massage the oil into your scalp and hair, right to the tips. Should you have Afro/american hair or a lot of curls, coconut oil might be better.

If you need help with your hair to get straight, you can use a loreal product called "sleek" or (my preferance) "going sleek" by the body shop. That way they get supersleek with blow-drying only!

Take care.

First, stop using anything that heats your hair. Use vitamin shampoos, drink a lot of water, get your protein, and get your vitamins. If you put your hair in a ponytail, make sure it's loose or else it could make things worse.

Your hair should be healthy in about a month or less. (Depending on how damaged your hair is).

Best commercial product is Pantene deep conditioner; best home remedy is mayonnaise...and you will definitely need a haircut to cut all the damaged ends; they will just keep splitting if you don't...

I just gave this same advice to someone else - Redken makes a line - it comes in dark bronze bottles. I use the conditioner called Butter Treat and an anti-friz styler called Heat Glide. Those things have saved my hair a bunch of times.

hi, once not so long ago my hair was seriously messed up coz of constant straightening and styling.

get a good few inches of all your split ends cut off and whilst your in the hairdressers ger them to put a treatment on it. that is like a deep conditioner that they shall massage into your hair and it will work 10 times better than any conditioner that you wil pick up at boots... then just spend more time looking after your hair and using the correct products{e.g. haet defence sprays, and leave in conditioner is a must if u use straightners or hair dryer} on your hair from then on ... hope that helps x

If you know it is damaged this cannot be repaired. If there are split ends from the damage they need removal as the damage can continue and the ends become woolly. It will become damaged again from straightener use, so leave them off when you are having a day off or at home.

Wash your hair really well. Put a lot of conditioner on, leave for 5 mins and then leave to dry naturally. I've got some stuff from Boots which is pretty good. It's Tony %26amp; Guy Heat Protection Spray. If the ends are dry just bite the bullet and get them trimmed. It's the only way. Try and lay off the straightners for a few days to give hair a chance to recover.

have it trimmed regularly if it is already damaged to prevent the damage spreading further upthe hair shaft and also use iron oil to stop the damage in the first place
