I have curly hair, so I know all the best shampoos and conditioners! But the best I found is the Matrix sleek looks. It's the one in the orange bottle, it is pretty pricey, but then if it's too much, suave has one that is supposed to be similar. It is also in an orange bottle.

I like Pantene for daily use and they have a "hair mask" that I use about once a week during the summer if I'm in the pool alot...as chlorine drys your hair out bad....about every 2 weeks through the winter! It's a deep conditioner. Try not to dry your hair every day...let it air dry on weekends. If you do dry it with a dryer, make sure you have plenty of time and dry it on low or get a dryer/brush!

Also, if the hair is REALLY damanged, you can make the following formula:
1 part daily conditioner
1 part deep conditioner
1 part hair masque (mask)
Combine the ingredients (again, Pantene is great for this and so is Nutrogena). Put the compound in hair after washing (squeeze remaining water out of your hair first). Take 2 towels and dampen them. Put one in the microwave for about 30 seconds or so. Get the towel out of the microwave and wrap it around your hair. Put the second towel in the microwave for about 30 seconds. Once it's done, take off the first towel and replace it with the new towel. Repeat the process 3 times, then rinse your hair COMPLETELY.
After doing that, I would recommend putting in a leave-in conditioner and comb it through your hair.
If there's one thing I know, it's hair. I dye my hair constantly and use harsh products to get the style I need. I found this formula to work wonders on even my "fried" hair, so really dry hair shouldn't be a problem.
If you have a problem with "poofy" hair, you should also consider putting a hair straightening balm (the clear stuff) in your hair.

different brands work differently on everyone, some of my clients love pantene and treseme, some hate it!
just try one thats moisturising or hydrating, this means its got extra conditioners in them, excellent for dried out hair.
another tip is the cheaper shampoos are worse, sounds obvious but store bought shampoos and conditioners contain salt water which dehydrates the hair so your best bet is one from a salon!!

I have dry and natural curly hair , I use Catwalk Oatmeal %26amp; Honey Shampoo and Conditioner,, by far has been the best with my hair. I ahve tried dozend upon dozens. Also after I wash I will add some bio silk , silk for hair and this tames down all my frizzys after about a month of useing or so I do not need now to use mouse on my hair or hairsprays, gels .
