Moisture-rich products. Anything with a label that emphasizes MOISTURE. Tresemme makes a good line of shampoos, conditioners, hair treatments, and products for dry and curly hair.

Also, try hot olive oil. Heat it up in a cup, don't make it too hot. Apply to dry hair (it will smell and feel pretty gross), put a shower cap over your hair, wrap in a hot towel from the dryer. Leave it on for about an hour, then shampoo it out and apply a deep conditioner. Leave-in conditioners are also pretty useful. The key to maintaining curly hair is MOISTURE MOISTURE MOISTURE! (I have thick nappy curls and a major frizz problem- don't be fooled by my default pic where I had straightened my hair! hehe.)

for dry hair try using good conditioners that help with dry/damaged hair. when you shower, you should try shampooing your hair every other day. condition everyday, but leave the conditioner on your hair for a while before washing it off.

I use a product called Bouncy Cream. It's a curl texturizer and it moisterizes at the same time. It's not made to add curls but helps define them. It's a lot better than using mousse because it does not contain alcohol which can dry out your hair. You can find it at stores that sell hair care products. The brand that makes it is ISO and it costs about 13$ CAN. I highly recommend it. Ever since I discovered it, I don't want to use anything else.

Use a moisturizing shampoo, and a conditioner meant for curly/wavy hair. A non pricey brand works well (I use garnier fructis moisture works shampoo, and herbal essences totally twisted conditioner), but I recommend spending a little more on a hair product. After you shampoo, let hair dry for a few minutes, then apply the conditioner roots to tips. Comb conditioner through the hair while in the shower (this gets out any tangles, wide tooth comb works best). After you comb your hair, scrunch your hair while the the conditioner is still in your hair. This encourages curl formation. Let the conditioner sit for about 2 to 3 minutes, then rinse. Do not comb or brush hair after you get out of the shower. You can gently wrap wet hair in a towel for a few minutes. Apply an anti frizz serum (I like biosilk silk therapy), and a spray gel meant for curls (redken fresh curls curl boost is amazing). After you spray the product throughout hair, scrunch a little, then leave the hair alone. Air drying works best. Every once in a while, its ok to use a 1 inch curling iron (after hair is dry) on a few random strands for extra frizz control.
