Everytime I drink a far bit of booze my hair in morning is very dry and coarse. Is there anything that can be done to keep it in better condition. No I am not going to stop drinking!!

use conditioner. cut down on doing things that expose it to too much heat (i.e. blow drying and flat ironing). eat lots of protein. i've also heard vitamin e is good for hair, too.
if you can't completely abstain from drinking alcohol, maybe cut down a lil bit

yes it does. Try to use products in which alcohol is further down in the list of ingredients, thus meaning that it is less of it in the product.
