I have quite wavy not curly hair and want to tame the wave with mouse do i use on wet or dry hair?

Use it on wet hair. That'll make it dry with a more natural look. If you use it after your hair is dry, it'll make your hair turn hard and you might get white residue left over.

I really prefer spray gel to mousse, because it's better for waves, whereas mousse is used more for volume for both straight and curly hair. I recommend Garnier Fructis Curl-Shaping spray gel.

Read the instructions on the mousse bottle. It depends on the mousse.
