Dry yet oily hair? HELP!!!!!!!!!?

Ok. So heres the deal. My hair is oily yet dry. Weird I know. If i don't wash it for 1 day, the roots are just disgusting. Like i stuck my head in a chicken fryer. On the other hand, the ends are just as dry as hay and actually make a crunching sound when its touched. I am trying to find a shampoo and conditioner that will stop the greasy look but help the dryness... actually it needs to be reverse on my head than whats going on now. Whats a good shampoo and conditioner that I can get at a drugstore that will actually work? or does anyone have any home recipes? Any info will help. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

Have you tried some herbal shampoos and conditioner with no plastics in them. One thing a friend tried was washing her hair with an egg. It does make your hair smell for a short time, but it did work for her.

Have you tried applying conditioner only to the ends of your hair where it is dry, and not to the roots?

Ok, Im not 2 big with the hair catastrafies(how ever u spell that) but a good idea might b 2 go 2 a salon and ask their opinions or solutions 4 this, maybe while ur there get get urself an awesome new do`

Herbal hair care, massaged in successfully for millenia, can be not only cheaper %26amp; more effective, but more fun too

In a screwtop glass jar, blend 1tsp each of castor oil, mustard oil %26amp; coconut oil

If your scalp is not too sensitive, combine 1 part lemon juice to 2 parts coconut oil too

Work it into the scalp %26amp; leave overnight if possible: if not, a minimum of 3 hours is vital

To soothe itchy scalp, grind some dried jasmine root into a bowl of lime juice

Massage into damp hair %26amp; rinse thoroughly

To add shine to your hair, combine juice of half a lemon wih 2 cups of warm water, or use rosewater for half of that amount %26amp; use as a rinse after shampooing %26amp; conditioning

For dry hair, massage a beaten egg into the hair after washing %26amp; rinsing

To treat heat-damaged hair, combine an egg with 2 tbsp castor oil, 1 tsp cider vinegar %26amp; 1 tsp glycerine

Massage into the hair %26amp; leave as long as you like before rinsing off

If suffering continually dull hair or an inflamed scalp, include more green leafy vegetables, salads, milk, fruits %26amp; sprouts, buttermilk, yeast, wheatgerm, soy beans %26amp; grains to the diet

Liquidise 'em in a blender %26amp; maybe add honey, yes?
